White Place

Just up behind my studio in Abiquiu. I hadn't been up there in a while. The kind of rocks O'Keeffe painted here.

Rodeo

The Rio Arriba County Fair was this week, they had bull riding on friday nite.
A bit like bull fighting, it's incredibly dangerous. The power displayed by cowboy and bull alike is beyond any everyday experience.

Taos

Some Indians here still trying to live the traditional life. Others catering to the tourists.

Out on the Monastery Road

A Classic cloud day.

Summer Indian Relics

An amazing ruin unprotected out here, a hike into a pine forest.

Shards from another site and a skeleton coming out of an eroded bank we found.

Cloud and Bird

I saw the neighbor's cat eyeing this bird on the feeder never dreaming she could get her.

A flash-- I ran as the cat dropped the poor bird already dead.

I took a picture, Im working on my Stations, and all of a sudden this looked like a crucified Christ, and then I buried it --I couldn't help myself making the cross like we did when we were kids.

Thunderstorms

This is a classic anvil cloud turning into a storm

Somewhere everyday here in NM-- some turn pretty violent.

Like my yard yesterday. I planted this Cottonwood 8 years ago.
