Dalai Lama at Cathedral of St John the Divine

The Dailai Lama is the spiritual leader of a very poetic world symbolized by this sand painting. ( made in the last week by the pictured monks ) The sand painting will be carried to the river and thrown to the winds, next Tuesday.

It was interesting to hear a person of a higher status than even our President discuss the futility of getting involved in war. All said  in his very simple ways.
